for smiles and childhood nostalgia provided by one of my favorite people
Writers are forgetful,
but they remember everything.
They forget appointments and anniversaries,
but remember what you wore,
how you smelled,
on your first date…
They remember every story you’ve ever told them -
but forget what you’ve just said.
They don’t remember to water the plants
or take out the trash,
but they don’t forget how
to make you laugh.
Writers are forgetful
the important things.
hell yeah, an awesome question.
i’m gonna take this opportunity to write a lot because these questions are great c:
Favorite bands: I have a deep love for all kinds of music, and I’m finding it difficult to narrow it down to just a few, but I guess I would list Parkway Drive as my number one. I’m also madly in love with The Avett Brothers, All That Remains, The Ghost Inside, Mumford & Sons, A Day to Remember, etc. I’m also a big Beatles fan, and if it’s Disney music, then I probably know it by heart. Pretty much any folk, heavy metal, indie, rock, etc.
- Awake My Soul - Mumford and Sons
- Deadweight - Parkway Drive
- Between the Lines - The Ghost Inside
- The Lobster Quadrille - Franz Ferdinand
- This is the House that Doubt Built - A Day to Remember
- Carolina on my Mind - James Taylor
- Fast Car - Tracy Chapman
- Landslide - Fleetwood Mac
- Murder in the City - The Avett Brothers
- All My Loving - The Beatles
- Therapy - All Time Low
Symbol: I have always had a deep appreciation for the truth behind the yin-yang symbol - representing both light and darkness, positive and negative, masculine and feminine, etc. The symbol of balance within the universe is absolutely beautiful to me and rings true in all - I believe it’s one of the strongest symbols of universe in its entirety.
I also seek assurance of insignificance and yet empowerment within the symbol of the circumpunct, as it ultimately represents the idea that we are all drawn to a universal desire for understanding and enlightenment of a higher power - no matter the name.
In the end, it’s not about what you have, it’s about where you wanna go.
Thank you for this question, I really enjoyed answering it. c:
